Elegance of Anguilla
The northernmost island in the British West Indies, Anguilla is a tiny and exceptionally fashionable Caribbean hotspot where celebrities and other bold-faced names head to duck the spotlight and savor a perfect (and perfectly unpretentious) getaway. You'll find plenty of things to do in Anguilla, including these favorites.
Heritage Collection Museum
Located in the East End, the Heritage Collection showcases a vast collection of Anguillan archeological and historical artifacts, dating from the time of the Arawak Indians. Don’t miss a chance to chat with the curator, island historian Colville Petty.
Shoal Bay East
Ranked by Condé Nast and Travel + Leisure as best beaches, this one and a half-mile stretch of pink-tinted sand offers top-notch snorkeling, kayaking and swimming in warm turquoise waters. Casual open-air restaurants and laid-back beach bars line the shore, perfect for watching the evening sunset.
Sandy Ground Beach
This bustling beach is Anguilla’s go-to for island flavor and calm waters. You’ll find small intimate beachfront restaurants and bars, dancing, parties and plenty of fishing boats, charters and boat racing.
Golf
Play golf at the neighboring golf course just miles away from us. This 7,063-yard, championship course offers breathtaking island and sea views, winding through saltwater lagoons, seagrape trees and the Merrywing Salt Pont, an island landmark.
Nature Trails
At just 17 miles long and three miles wide, it’s easy to plan a coast-to-coast hiking experience. Highlights include Katouche Trail, Limestone Bay, Brimegin Trail and Windward Point. Watch out for lizards, wild cats and sun-loving iguanas.
St. Barts Day Trip
Plan a day trip to the chic, French-speaking island of St. Bart’s. Located just south of Anguilla, this small island of nearly ten square miles is reached via a 45-minute shuttle. A private charter to St. Bart’s is also available. Please inquire with Concierge for more details.
Little Bay Snorkeling
Set off on a 38’ bow rider for a snorkeling and sightseeing adventure. Cruise to nearby Little Bay, where tropical fish and breathtaking coral formations are abundant. Enjoy lunch and time to explore on Sandy Island or Prickly Pear, two secluded and picturesque beaches. Interested in a private charter excursion? Please call Concierge for more details.
Sunset Cruise from Sandy Ground
Experience the natural splendor of Anguilla’s coastline bathed in the last rays of the day on a sunset cruise. It’s a perfect way to revel in the beauty of the Caribbean sunset and maybe even spot the elusive "green flash" on the horizon. This two-hour cruise begins at Shoal Bay at 4:30 pm. If you prefer a private boat for you and your family, please inquire with Concierge for pricing.
Glass Bottom Boat Tour
Want to explore the splendor but stay dry? Hop aboard Captain Junior Fleming’s Glass Bottom Boat Tour, located just steps from the resort on Shoal Bay East.
Island Tours
Explore the island of Anguilla on a guided tour with a knowledgeable local driver or call the Concierge to arrange a rental car for the day or the length of your stay. Highlights of your tour might include Wallblake House, the island’s oldest and only plantation house, and Dolphin Discovery at Blowing Point.
Traditional Sailing
Enjoy sailing and snorkeling to our offshore cays on the island. There you will also sample our various local cuisines. No sailing trip is complete without a stop to Little Bay and Prickly Pear.
Horseback Riding
Have you ever dreamed of riding a beautiful horse along a deserted beach? This is the one for you! Most rides take place along Cove Bay, an untouched stretch of natural beach on the island’s south coast.
Deep Sea Fishing
Head out for a deep-sea fishing adventure in our sparkling blue waters and, with a bit of luck, bring dinner. Our Concierge will make all the arrangements with an experienced local captain. Available based on schedule and sea conditions with a four-hour minimum (includes cold beverages, bait, and use of fishing gear for up to four passengers).

One of the best and most intimate ways to tour Anguilla is by bike. Exploring by bicycle offers access to remote and beautiful spots and allows you to freely stop and take in the scenery beyond the island’s paved pathways.
