Our Favorite Beaches in Anguilla for a Perfect Getaway
Escape the winter cold at home and dive into the warm, stunning beaches bordering Anguilla—it’s the perfect getaway all year-round.
It’s January once again, and in Anguilla, that means mild weather, sunny skies, and calm waters. For snowbirds escaping the cold, dark winters at home, Anguilla is the perfect place to soak in the sun and bask in warm weather. To experience the best of the island, make sure to visit its beautiful beaches. Here are some of our favorites to help you get started:

Shoal Bay
You’ll feel like you have the whole beach to yourselves when you visit Shoal Bay. Located just 1.3 km from our resort, the calm waves, crystal clear water, and soft white sand will transport you to another level of beach bliss. The views are nothing short of breathtaking, and it is everything you imagine when thinking of what a perfect beach feels like. Once you step onto its powdery sand, you’ll know why it’s one of the world’s most renowned beaches.

Rendezvous Beach
Head south of the island to experience the quiet beauty of Rendezvous Beach. Known for its calm waters and its crystal blue-green hue, this beach is a favorite among both locals and travelers. Order a drink and some tasty appetizers at one of the nearby restaurants and spend the day relaxing on one of the beach lounge chairs—we guarantee it’ll be one of the highlights of your trip.
Captain’s Bay
For a little bit of adventure, Captain’s Bay is a worthy trip. Situated on the eastern side of the island and a 17-minute drive from our resort, Captain’s Bay requires a bit more work to get to, but the journey is what makes getting here a little more rewarding. Accessible by boat, car, and even hiking for the daring. The waves here are known to be strong, so be cautious if you’re going in the water.
Since Captain’s Bay is one of the farthest beaches in the east end, it’s very remote, and convenient shops will be hard to come by. Despite this, the bay is definitely a site to explore for nature lovers and travelers seeking beaches less traveled.

Little Bay
Hiding away from open view is the secluded cove of Little Bay, where peace and quiet evoke a sense of paradise. Accessible only by boat or climbing rope, Little Bay is a truly unforgettable piece of Anguilla with its high cliffs that create a little beach and private atmosphere. Spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating as you admire the bay and beauty of the island.
